Skeet Ulrich went to the Northwest Cabarrus High School. After graduating from high school, he got enrolled at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. He had got enrolled in a Marine Biology course at the UNC. However, he didn’t complete his studies at UNC and moved to the New York University.

While studying at the New York University, he started studying acting at the Atlantic Theater Company. He was tutored by David Mamet, who is a co-founder of the off-Broadway theater company.

1. Georgina Cates (1996-2005) – Skeet started going out with English actress, Georgina Cates in 1996. They had first met at a party held for the Academy Awards. They got married in October 1997 in an intimate and private ceremony held at their farm in Madison County, Virginia. Apart from the priest, the other guests at the ceremony were only limited to their pet dogs. In 2001, Cates gave birth to twins, daughter Naiia Rose and son Jakob Dylan. They ended their marriage in 2005 citing irreconcilable differences. In February 2013, he was dragged to court as it was alleged that he hadn’t paid child support amounting to $284,861.84 to his former wife. He pleaded not guilty to the charges.
2. Leonora Scelfo (1996) – In 1996, he started going out with actress Leonora Scelfo. They had grown close while shooting for the movie, Scream. However, their affair didn’t last beyond a couple of months.
3. Amelia Jackson-Gray (2011-2015) – Skeet started dating actress and writer, Amelia Jackson-Gray, in 2011. They got married in a low key ceremony in 2012. They decided to terminate their marriage in 2015.
