1. Allie was not a very outgoing person during high school and would always stay in the computer lab either listening to or writing music. According to her, the entire school hated her and wanted her out.
2. In an interview, she has said that while growing up, music was the only thing that helped her feel like she belonged in this world.
3. She was born to a school teacher and a scientist.
4. At one point in her life, Allie was so much motivated to work that she was even ready to mop the floors just to be a part of any kind of community.
5. She got her first job at a record store.
6. She later worked in production for arena shows in Vegas and Palm Springs and did artist relations for musical artists. She used to fly to Vegas after school on Thursdays and worked from Friday 6 am to Sunday 2 am before school.
7. While working in Vegas, Allie would lie about her age as she was too young for the job and felt extremely disconnected from the field at that time.
