Ron Fisico (1992–Present) – Trish married her high school sweetheart and former professional bodybuilder and instructor, Ron Fisico on September 30, 2006, in a grand ceremony after dating him for 14 years. He was responsible for constructing Trish’s Yoga studio. The WWE Diva’s wedding gown was featured on the cover of Today’s Bride magazine. After the wedding, she had no time to spare for her honeymoon as she got the call to film the CBS reality show Armed and Famous (2007). Together the couple has a son named Maximus Stratus Fisico (b.   • Trish was athletic since high school. She liked to play make-believe wrestling with her cousins and sisters. She played soccer in high school and was on the varsity field hockey team of York University. Regular sessions at the gym kept her lean and enabled her to launch a career as a fitness model in the 1990s.
  • While awaiting a response from the WWE, she decided to gain a firm ground in wrestling beforehand and started training at Sully’s Gym with Ron Hutchinson. Trish acquired the opportunity to start wrestling in 2001. At the beginning of her career, wrestling trainer, Dave Finley played a crucial role in honing the diva’s fighting skills to demonstrate eye-catching athleticism and power in the WWE ring.
  • The diva suffered a series of injuries in the next 4 years. In 2005, upon the advice and feedback from a friend who took up Hot Yoga to heal an injured neck, Trish started taking classes to rehabilitate a herniated disc in her back hoping to avoid surgery. After healing her body completely without surgical intervention, Trish became a sincere yoga practitioner and got certified as an Ashtanga Yoga teacher post-WWE retirement. However, without weight training, she started losing her muscle tone and modified her practice by incorporating body weight strength movements.
  • In 2008, she hosted a 10 episode lifestyle show called Stratusphere aired on Travel + Escape network which filmed Trish travelling through several countries to experience local athletic activities that comprised of “Kalaripayattu” in Kochi, India, “Vo Binh Dinh” wrestling in Vietnam, “Pencak Silat” fighting in Central Java, Indonesia, “Glima” wrestling in Iceland, “Maori” fighting arts in New Zealand, and “Muay Thai” boxing in Thailand along with outdoor activities such as reindeer racing and paragliding. For her action movie debut in Bounty Hunters (2011), Trish learned Krav Maga for 3 months and performed all her stunts.
  • Trish already followed a clean diet and ate organic food when she found out she was pregnant for the first time. But, during her first pregnancy, she altered her everyday meals to eat foods specifically dense in the nutrients important for the baby such as Folate, Iron, Vitamin C etc.
  • She continued to follow her workouts but added prenatal and hip opening yoga poses to her daily practice. The diva also vowed to perform 100 squats every day of her pregnancy to enable an easy delivery.
  • After the birth of her 2nd child, Trish hired a former police officer, personal trainer, and owner of Optimum Training Centre, Nichelle Laus to get back her pre-baby body. Initially, Nichelle gave Trish a bodybuilding split that concluded with a few plyometric exercises at the end of every session.
  • When the WWE invited the diva to participate in the first ever Women’s Royal Rumble in 2018, her trainer revved up Trish’s workout routine to build explosive strength by including tuck jumps, long jumps, box jumps, power sled sprints, and deadlifts. The wrestling diva continued to supplement this routine with 20 minutes of daily Yoga practice at any time of the day when she could spare the time.
  • Her least favorite workout is any dance-based exercise. The diva shared that she struggles to co-ordinate her moves to music. She has maintained a food journal and a workout journal since her 20s to keep her physical fitness within reach. She drinks more than 1.5 liters of a day. Trish usually consumes 3-4 balanced meals in a day prepared with natural, whole foods ingredients.
