Matt Walsh is an American actor, voice actor, comedian, director, writer, and producer who is best known for having been cast as Mike McLintock in the HBO political satire comedy series, Veep, for which he was also nominated for the Primetime Emmy Award in the “Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series” category both in 2016 and 2017. He has also appeared in a large variety of TV shows and movies such as A Futile and Stupid Gesture, Life of the Party, Brigsby Bear, Strangers with Candy, Rick and Morty, Under the Eiffel Tower, The Perfect Date, Keeping Up with the Joneses, Wild Oats, Bad Night, Freak Dance, Into the Storm, Bob’s Burgers, Animals., Dante’s Inferno, and Escape from It’s a Wonderful Life. Matt Walsh also pursued his inclination towards sketch comedy and improvisations by founding Upright Citizens Brigade improv comedy troupe along with Matt Besser, Amy Poehler, and Ian Roberts.
