Rachel Crow is an American singer, actress, and comedian, best known as the contestant in the 1st season of reality-TV singing competition The X Factor USA in 2011, and finishing in the 5th place after a sing-off against . In February 2012, Rachel signed a record deal with Columbia Records, and later in the year went on a tour with and guest starred in the TV series Fred: The Show. After an announcement early in the month, on June 26, 2012, Rachel Crow released her debut, self-titled EP Rachel Crow, preceded by the lead single, Mean Girls. Following her musical success, Rachel went on to star in TV series such as Big Time Rush (2012), The Office (2013), Home: Adventures with Tip & Oh (2016-2018), as well as Schooled and Teens Wanna Know, both starting in 2019.
She also borrowed her voice to Carla in the animated movie Rio 2 (2014) and starred alongside in the independent film Deidra & Laney Rob a Train (2017). On May 19, 2017, she released a single titled Dime, and on August 3, 2018, her single Coulda Told Me featuring singer Chika was praised by the audience. On January 25, 2019, Rachel released her pop single titled Up All Night, which was remixed by Ryan Riback in late March 2019. - She was adopted by a couple after 1 year of having her as a foster. She said that she considered them her real parents, as they raised and loved her.
- Her biological mother was a crack cocaine addict, and Rachel grew up in crack houses and was even abused. Rachel showed no desire to find out who her biological parents are because it was “all in the past,” according to her statement.
