Félix Auger-Aliassime is a Canadian professional tennis player who had reached a career-high ATP singles ranking of number 19 on August 19, 2019. Before he turned pro and had taken a quite competitive spot in the singles ranking in 2019, he had a career-high ITF junior ranking of number 2 which was recorded on June 6, 2016. In the early years of his junior career, Auger compiled a long list of achievements including his 2 ITF junior singles title, first doubles title (February 2015), junior G1 title alongside victory compatriot (August 2015), double titles on his first junior Grand Slam (September 2015), and another G1 singles title during which he defeated Alex De Minaur in the final round. After receiving multiple wild cards and qualifying to compete for both singles and doubles titles, he earned a spot through 3 qualifying matches to reach the main draw of the U.S. Open in 2018. However, he ended up retiring during the first round in a match against Denis Shapovalov after he suffered from heart palpitations due to extreme heat during the competition.
