1. His first name translates to “peace.”
2. Kagiso acknowledges the fact that unlike one of his best friends, cricketer , he was privileged and didn’t grow up in poverty.
3. Kagiso fell in love with sports as soon as he enrolled in primary school. He initially played rugby.
4. As a kid, he used to run barefoot in the townships outside Johannesburg, which he partially credits for his incredible stamina.
5. He regularly bowls in the 140 to 150 kilometers per hour range.
6. Despite being one of the top bowlers, Kagiso admits that he loves McDonald’s food and drinks espresso with a lot of . He also doesn’t want to stop going out to music festivals and having a few beers on occasions.
