She made her first theatrical film appearance by playing the role of Kim Mi-ra in the 2013 romantic comedy film, How to Use Guys with Secret Tips, whose lead cast comprised of Lee Si-young, Oh Jung-se, and Park Yeong-gyu.
She was cast as Ma Se-young in the 2014 romantic comedy television show, Plus Nine Boys, which starred Kim Young-kwang, , Oh Jung-se, and Choi Ro-woon and for this role, Kyung Soo-jin was nominated for the 3rd APAN Star Award for “Best New Actress” and won the 22nd Korea Culture and Entertainment Award for “Best New Actress (Television)”.
Her performance as young Jo Hae-woo in the revenge thriller drama TV series, Don’t Look Back: The Legend of Orpheus, won her the 27th KBS Drama Award in the “Best New Actress” category.
From 2016 to 2017, Kyung Soo-jin co-starred as Song Shi-ho, Bok-Joo’s roommate and Joon-Hyung’s ex-girlfriend, in the coming-of-age sports drama series, Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-joo, and was nominated for the 35th MBC Drama Award in the “Excellence Award, Actress in a Miniseries” category for her performance.
She enjoys swimming, playing tennis and squash, singing, and dancing.
She signed a contract deal with YG Entertainment in November 2018.
It is speculated that Kyung Soo-jin had plastic surgery on her face.
In 2019, she appeared as a cast member of the television variety show, I Live Alone.
