1. Kaylyn was named ‘Saskatchewan Soccer Association Youth Female Player of the Year’ for 3 years in succession, from 2004 to 2006, and then the ‘Senior Female Player of the Year’ in 2010 and 2011.
2. She was a member of the Canadian team that defeated Brazil in the Gold medal match at the 2011 Pan American Games.
3. Kaylyn represented Canada in 62 consecutive international matches from 2011 to 2014.
4. In 2019, she received death threats after stating on-air that the United States’ players should not have celebrated the last few of their goals in their 13-0 hammering of minnows Thailand at that year’s FIFA Women’s World Cup.
