1. He started off his racing career with the go-kart and went on to have early success after which he was promoted to “Junior” racing.
2. In 1989, he won the Formula Renault and managed to attain himself a 2nd place at the French Formula 3 in 1991.
3. By the end of 2003, he was said to have driven in 141 or more Grand Prix‘s.
4. He entered the 2004 Formulae 1 World Championship with the Panasonic Toyota Racing Team.
