2. Li is a trained wushu martial artist who has been fighting as a combat-sport athlete ever since her younger years. She had also taken part in the World Traditional Chinese Wushu Championship in the past.

4. In 2017, Xia Li fought and eliminated fellow wrestler at the first-ever Mae Young Classic.
