His styles were called streetwear and were greatly inspired by Frank Sinatra and Sammy Davis Jr.

In late 1985, he tried hip hop fashion, and he had styled LL Cool J, and since then, he got huge success and fame with his Hip Hop royalty. Eric B and Rakim wore his creations for some of their iconic albums, namely Paid in Full, released in 1987 and Follow The Leader released in 1988. Some iconic celebrities had worn his creations, such as The Fat Boys, Salt-N-Pepa, KRS-One Bobby Brown, Jam Master Jay, Big Daddy Kane, Mike Tyson, Floyd Mayweather, and Diane Dixon.

In 2017, in association with the Gucci CEO Marco Bizzarri, a men’s line of clothing was created.

In 2018, the first luxury store in Harlem was opened called Lenox Avenue. Gucci and Dapper Dan of Harlem created it.
