1. His stage moniker “A Kay” was given to him by music producer Preet Hundal.
2. He considers meeting Preet Hundal as the first turning point of his career.
3. In 2016, he was caught up in a huge controversy as his video in which he seemed to be insulting his fans about their financial status, went viral on social media. It resulted in a huge backlash on the social media. A Kay renounced the video and claimed that it was edited to make him appear in a bad light. He claimed that the lines allegedly used for fans in the video were actually said for his haters. Due to the controversy, he wasn’t able to do any stage show for 6 months as promoters were hesitant about backing him.
