Bobbi Brown Facts

1. After completing her college studies, she stayed in Boston for a year and worked as a waitress. She then moved to New York City and started working as a makeup artist.
2. In 2013, she was inducted into the New Jersey Hall of Fame in recognition of her services to the enterprise.
3. In 1991, she collaborated with a chemist to launch a collection of lipsticks under the label of Bobbi Brown Essentials. The collection was first sold at Bergdorf Goodman in New York City.
4. Her brand was bought by Estée Lauder in 1995. However, she retained complete creative control of the makeup line.
5. In 2007, the first freestanding Bobbi Brown Cosmetics retail store was inaugurated in Montclair, New Jersey. By January 2014, the company had opened 35 such retail stores.
6. In December 2016, it was announced that she was going to step down from the position of CCO of Bobbi Brown Cosmetics.
