  1. He and his younger brother Steve were brought up in Poway, California.
  2. Lee was 18 years old when he decided to vacate from his parent’s home. After that, he worked at several restaurants and coffee shops that were located in the San Diego area in order to support himself.
  3. Bobby’s mother and father were owners of clothing stores that were located in Escondido and Encinitas, California.
  4. As of October 2020, Bobby’s mother was residing in Phoenix, Arizona. Whereas, his brother Steve ran The Steebee Weebee podcast.
  5. He began his career as a comedian in 1994 after he lost his job due to the abrupt closing of a coffee shop that he had been working in at the time. Fortunately for Bobby, he stumbled upon The Comedy Store – La Jolla in San Diego. However, he had lost the support of his parents as they did not want him to be a comedian but he and his family reconciled after his appearance on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno in 2002.

  7. When Bobby was 12 years old, he started doing methamphetamine and marijuana, which soon led to a serious addiction. However, after going through 3 drug-rehabilitation attempts, he eventually gave up meth at the age of 17. Nevertheless, 12 years later, Bobby began doing drugs once again after he got addicted to Vicodin but gave it up until the passing of his father in August 2019.
  8. As of 2020, he was a recovering alcoholic.
  9. He made his debut feature film appearance as a Chinese Man in The Underground Comedy Movie in 1999.
