1. When they were both aged 15, his best friend, Mir, was killed due to street violence. The event was the motivation for him to start rapping.
2. BOE Sosa stated that Mir was a much better rapper than he was. He decided to keep his memory and legacy alive by becoming a rapper exactly on Mir’s birthday, October 31, a day after his own.
3. He didn’t like going to school but always showed up and did his best.
