2. His mother and father are both from Italy. However, his maternal grandparents relocated to New Jersey when his mother was 6 years old.
3. Buddy was only 11 years old when he started working at the family bakery called Carlo’s Bakery. Later, Buddy took over as the “Cake Boss” after his father passed away in 1994. He was 17 years old at the time.

5. In 2009, he started hosting the show Cake Boss which appeared on TLC. The show ended airing in December 2017.
