Carrie Ann Inaba is an American dancer, TV show host, choreographer, actress, and singer, best known for being a co-host in The Talk CBS Daytime show since 2017, as well as being a judge on Dancing with the Stars since 2005. She also hosted 1 vs. 100, a game TV show, from 2010 to 2011. She has had multiple roles as a dancer in movies such as Lord of Illusions (1995), Showgirls (1995), Monster Mash: The Movie (1995), Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me (1999), and once again in Austin Powers in Goldmember (2002) as an identical twin Fook Yu, alongside Diane Mizota. As a singer, she won talent shows in Hawaii and Japan and was groomed to be a pop star in Japan, but later focused her career elsewhere. Carrie’s dancing career was marked by being a part of Fly Girls, a backup dancers group for the TV series In Living Color (1990-1992), and her appearance on ‘s Glam Slam music video, as well as on Madonna’s Girlie Show World Tour in 1993.

1. She was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii, United States.
2. Carrie loved dancing from an early age and used to dance in her backyard that had a view of the Pacific Ocean. She had her first dance instructions when she was 3 years old, in a creative movement class.
3. Carrie initially wanted to be a singer in Japan but realized that the industry groomed the way singers looked to fit a certain mold, instead of nurturing their artistic freedom. So, she moved to the United States in 1988.
4. She was asked to shave her hair in order to be a solo dancer at ‘s Girlie Show World Tour in 1993. She accepted as she deemed it was worth the exposure.
5. After a notable appearance as a co-host of The Talk since 2017, she officially replaced as an official co-host on January 2, 2019. Carrie had the chance to host celebrities such as , , , , , and others.
