1. Danny aspired to be a priest while growing up, in accordance with his mother’s wishes. He also served as an altar boy for 8 years and planned to join a seminary at the age of 14 but was dissuaded by his local priest.
2. Danny’s friendship with frequent collaborator was strained after Ewan was booted out of his Hollywood production The Beach (2000) in favor of the A-lister . However, after an acrimonious decade, the actor and director buried the hatchet for good in 2009.
