1. He became obsessed with wrestling after he got hooked on to the show in the mid-1980s. However, it wasn’t until his teenage years that he decided to turn his obsession into a career. He even took part in various backyard wrestling federations.
2. Darren played American football, both offensively and defensively while in high school and continued to do even in college for a year before finally deciding to drop it and pay attention to his studies and wrestling.
