3. Her older brother, Mirsad Türkcan (né Jahović), had played a key role in her early career as he had financially helped to jump-start her recording activities. He had moved from Serbia to Turkey to play professional basketball, had played for the Turkish national team, and had eventually become the first Turkish basketball player to play in the NBA.
