1. She was about 7 years old when she began working on her acting career, one of the projects she had performed early being the film Mister Lonely where she also portrayed someone who got an early jumpstart in show business.
2. Esme has disclosed that she has been grateful to her agent for landing the protagonist’s role in Hanna that catapulted her to stardom. She has added that she had decided to start going to some auditions as she was getting bored in college when her agent informed her about the role and persuaded her to try to get a part in the show, which eventually ended up changing her entire life.
3. Regarding the intense training she took for her role as Hanna, she has stated that playing the character was quite challenging. She had to learn some new tasks that had included martial arts training, that she did for approximately 6 months before she began filming the show. Consequently, Esme has been noted for her great work ethic.
