Personal Trainer

While F1 racers like George Russell don’t necessarily need to train as hard as the other sports athletes, they also have strict and specific workout parameters to follow before their next race championship kicks off. As a race car driver, training for speed and stability is very important. A report published on January 11, 2019, showed a video of Russell’s neck training in preparation for the 2019 season. Neck training is part of the checklist for most professional car racers especially given the fact that driving a car at the highest speed possible requires a lot of neck stability and full control of the steering wheel, which also takes a lot of training to master it.

Aside from neck training, Russell may have also been following more from his checklist in terms of keeping his fitness and health goals well-intact. Looking at his Instagram, he spends most of his free time at the gym working out to prepare himself before his next race. He often tends to post photos and videos of him doing random types of exercises, which only proves to show that he’s pretty much into fitness not just as a racer but as a sports enthusiast in general.
