1. She had attended the Valley Regional High School with fellow future actor Peter Lockyer. They had performed in several school musicals and plays together.
2. After graduating from the William Esper Studio, she had worked for a while in a summer stock theatre in Vermont and then as an usher at Angelika Film Center, a movie theatre in New York. She later joined Michael’s Restaurant in New York as a hat-check girl and used to live in the Hell’s Kitchen neighborhood of New York City. It was there that she was spotted by a talent agent.
3. She had played the character of Jenny in the play titled The Shape of Things (2001) in both London and New York. When the play was adapted into a featured film that was released in 2003, she was chosen to reprise that role.
