In 1996, he joined Coca-Cola after consulting for Bain & Co and a smaller consultancy. He has lived and worked for Coke in Latin America, including in Mexico, where he led the acquisition of Jugos del Valle. From 2008 to 2012, he was president of the Northwest Europe & Nordics Business Unit.
