Kamala Nehru was an Indian human rights activist and freedom fighter who followed in her husband Jawaharlal Nehru’s footsteps to lead the “Indian Independence Movement.” Besides that, she was also known to be the older sister of an agricultural scientist, botanist, and the founder of the “National Botanical Research Institute”, Kailas Nath Kaul and mother of late. Indira Gandhi.
