Maître Gims is a Congolese singer, rapper, and music composer who shot to fame in 2013 with his maiden studio album Subliminal that sold more than a million copies in France, peaked at number 2 on the national charts and was certified ‘Diamond’ in France and ‘Gold’ in Belgium. His subsequent albums Mon Cœur Avait Raison (2015) and Ceinture Noire (2018) both peaked at number 1 on the French charts and earned ‘Diamond’ certification in the country.
