1. In a YouTube video, Noah narrated the story of how his friend and YouTube channel partner once nearly lost his life. The two had been schoolmates for some time and became good friends in 2016. Some of Noah’s relatives had flown over to Atlanta from Germany for vacations and the family went camping at a national park. While there, Steve, Noah, and his cousin decided to swim from one bank of a river to another. As the three were halfway through the course, Steve started to panic and began to drown.
2. Noah and his cousin then picked Steve up and swam back to the river bank, they had started at. After a few minutes, Steve regained consciousness and thanked Noah for saving his life.
3. Noah’s YouTube channel is a collaborative effort with his friends. He and his friends had, in the channel’s early days, decided to rename it to Flipside. However, they realized that doing so would hurt the chances of getting new subscribers as Flipside was a common name and would give tens of different results when typed in the YouTube search box. They eventually decided to retain the name NoahMadeSMK.
4. After Noah had made a video reacting to his younger sister’s TikTok clips, she had thrown his newly repaired phone into an overground pool of cold water.
5. For his comedy skits, he had created a recurring character called Bernard Nicols. Noah himself played that character in multiple videos. Quite a few of his videos often have him appear in double roles as well.
6. In a YouTube video, he has stated that whatever he does in his future, he aims to operate independently as he would not like to work under anyone else’s supervision.
7. In 2018, his sister and Steve had cut Noah’s hair while he was asleep, forcing him to appear in a beanie in his subsequent videos.
