Rhett McLaughlin is an American YouTuber, comedian, writer and actor. He is famously known for being the co-founder of the YouTube channel Rhett and Link. He is a partner of his childhood best friend Link Neal. The two are amongst the top paid YouTubers in the world.

Rhett James McLaughlin was born on October 11, 1977 in Macon, Georgia. He met his business partner and best friend Link Neal on their first day in elementary school. His family had just relocated to Buies Creek in North Carolina.

Rhett attended Harnett Central High School where he played basketball and was a member of a punk rock band named The Wax Paper Dogz. The house is a modern traditional home built-in 1978. It is fitted with a large outdoor basketball court and a swimming pool and spa.

This was uploaded on Rhett’s personal channel in 2006.

Rhett and Link officially joined YouTube on September 2008. Their channel, Good Mythical Morning has over 6 billion views and over 16 million subscribers. After being featured on YouTube’s homepage, Rhett and Link established their presence on the web. The duo had a television show named Rhett and Link: Commercial Kings. The show aired on the Independent Film Channel.

In the show, they traveled the country making commercials for small businesses. In February of 2019, they acquired the smosh brand after the channel’s former owner, Defy Media was liquidated. Under the Mythical Entertainment banner, the channel would acquire full creative freedom and launch its own podcast named Smoshcast.
