Robyn is a Swedish singer, songwriter, and record producer, first introduced to the audience in Sweden with her debut album, Robyn Is Here in 1995.   1. She said in an interview that she misses nature and Swedish butter when she’s away from home.
  2. Robyn took a long hiatus from releasing studio albums after 2013 and focused on collaborating with artists such as Neneh Cherry in 2014, Mr. Tophat in 2016 on Trust Me song, and Todd Rundgren’s song That Could Have Been Me in 2017.
  3. Her longtime friend, collaborator, and producer, Christian Falk, died in 2014. She postponed performances after their last EP, Love Is Free, was released in 2015 as part of La Bagatelle Magique, a music group she was in with him. She appeared at the Popaganda Festival in 2015 in his honor.
  4. After parting ways from BMG in 2001, she signed a worldwide recording deal with Jive Records in July 2001. However, their contract ended in 2004 as the label didn’t have a positive reaction to her music genre change from pop and dance-pop to electropop.
  5. She started her own record label in early 2005, and named it Konichiwa Records, with the goal to have musical and creative freedom. A month after the announcement, she released her album, Robyn, which was number one in Sweden when it debuted.

Notable ones are The Rakamonie that was released in the UK on December 2006 and worldwide in January 2018 by Cherry Tree Records, and Konichiwa Bitches from March 2007.

  9. Her Body Talk albums were very popular among the worldwide audience between 2010 and 2013. Body Talk Pt. 2 was released on September 6, 2010, in the UK, and it contained a duet with named U Should Know Better. Another well-known single from the album was Indestructible, released on October 13, 2010.

  11. She worked on a collaborative extended play album with Röyksopp, a Norwegian music duo, on Do It Again in 2014.
  12. Due to a long hiatus from releasing studio albums, fans on social media kept asking about her plans for the future. After announcing in February 2018 on Twitter that she plans to release a new album, Robyn released her eighth studio album named Honey on October 26, 2018.
  13. The song from her eighth album, Missing U, was initially a single and released on July 23, 2018, but was later taken down and re-released on August 1, 2018. She started a tour across Europe and North America, which started on February 5, 2019, and will last until April of the same year.
