Julian asked to read one of Rula’s books, and she gave him her first novel Miral. Julian was so inspired by the story that he decided to turn it into a film. The film was made at the cost of Julian’s marriage, as Rula and Julian developed a romantic relationship. Rula moved to New York to live with Julian. The couple separated in 2011.
3. Arthur Altschul, Jr. – Rula started dating member of the Lehman family and Co-founder of Koltan Pharmaceuticals, Arthur Altschul, Jr. The couple tied the knot in 2013. They divorced in 2016 after Arthur found out about Rula’s affair with Roger Waters.
4. (2016) – In 2016, Rula briefly dated English musician and Pink Floyd founder Roger Waters.
