Besides his extensive body of acting work in TV series and theater productions, he has served as the host for several TV game shows such as Win, Lose or Draw (1994), Lucky Numbers (1995-1997), Reflex (2014), Win Your Wish List (2014-2016), and Decimate (2015-2016). 1. He was named after his mother’s favorite movie, a western drama film titled Shane (1953). He had later changed his stage name from Roche to Richie, after iconic singer .
2. Shane had released his autobiography titled Rags to Richie in 2003. Among several scandalous revelations in the book was the mention of an incident where he claimed that he had had s*x with 6 girls in a chalet while he was working as a bluecoat entertainer at a holiday camp. He had also revealed that he had lost his v*rginity to his younger brother’s babysitter when he was 13 years old.
3. Shane had mentioned in an interview that he had often broken the law in the past by orchestrating ticket touts outside of movie theatres. He had claimed that he would often arrange for free tickets to the touts who would go on to sell them for high prices, earning him a hefty profit.
