Belleci has extensive experience in fire and explosives. His father taught him how to make a Molotov cocktail when he was a boy. After graduating from San Francisco State University’s film school in 1994, he began working at M5 Industries with Jamie Hyneman. Belleci started off as a stage manager, doing errands and cleaning the store, but soon progressed. He began working at Industrial Light and Magic a few years back (ILM). Belleci worked as a model designer, sculptor, and painter for ILM for eight years. In 2003, Belleci started working behind the scenes on Discovery Channel’s MythBusters, and in the second season, she was featured as a member of the show’s build team.
