AJ Pritchard Facts

1. He was raised in Stoke-on-Trent by parents who are both dancers.
2. Pritchard was 12 years old when he began dancing competitively.
3. Initially, Pritchard had discovered a passion for extreme sports like snowboarding and mountainboarding. However, his love for them tumbled upside down after he broke his arm. It was then, that Pritchard turned his focus to dance and joined his parents’ academy.
4. AJ learned to dance at his parents’ dance school named “Pritchard’s Dance Academy” in Cheshire. It was there that he and his partner were paired together in 2007 and since then they have been dancing competitively, representing England around the world.
5. Along the way, AJ has achieved a number of accolades with his partner Chloe including the “No.1 International Ten Dance Champions”, two-time “All England Youth Ballroom and Latin Champions”, two-time “Champions of Tomorrow Youth Ballroom and Latin Winners”, two-time “BDF DPA Star Champions Youth – Ballroom and Latin”, and the “British National” and “United Kingdom Youth Ballroom Champions.”
6. In the past, the “British Association of Teachers of Dancing” announced that AJ was their new ambassador.
