Alan Jackson is an American singer-songwriter and musician who is well-known for his “traditional country” musical style and for writing a variety of his own songs from some of his greatest hit albums that made frenzy in the music charts over the years. Most of his albums and singles had made its rounds worldwide and were consistent in making it on top of the Billboard charts. He has sold more than 80 million records with more than 65 titles hitting the Billboard Hot Country Singles and Tracks chart. The multi-platinum recording artist has won multiple awards including Grammy Awards, CMA Awards, ACM Awards, and a row of nominations for his music. Jackson, who also performs at the Grand Ole Opry, had acquired numerous multi-platinum titles and was inducted into the Georgia Music Hall of Fame in 2001. In the years 2017, he was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame by the famous country music singer-songwriter, Loretta Lyn, and into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2018.

Before fame, Jackson was not originally a music enthusiast until his friend introduced him to the music of famous singers Gene Watson, John Anderson, and Hank Williams Jr. He grew up listening to gospel music, but he had only started to develop his interest when he began listening to a wide variety of country music at the time. At the age of 27, he and his wife Denise relocated from Newnan to Nashville, Tennessee where he was in high hopes to pursue a career in music full-time. It wasn’t long until Jackson finally got the chance to enter the music industry after Denise introduced him to actor-musician, Glen Campbell, who turned out to be the first person to help him kick-off a professional career in the industry. In early 1990, he released his debut album Here in the Real World which included two of his songs Wanted and Chasin’ That Neon Rainbow that reached the top 5, and his no. 1 hit song track I’d Love You All Over Again. Following his successful album debut, he released his 2nd album Don’t Rock the Jukebox in 1991 which included his 4 chart-topping singles Someday, Dallas, Love’s Got a Hold on You, Midnight in Montgomery, and his title track Don’t Rock the Jukebox. In that same year, Jackson co-wrote a series of songs on Randy Travis’s album High Lonesome. A couple more albums were released in the early 1990s, which included Jackson’s greatest hits of all time, Tonight I Climbed the Wall, She’s Got the Rythm (And I Got the Blues), Chattahoochee, and (Who Says) You Can’t Have It All. He has released countless chart-topping songs throughout his musical career.

1. Denise Jackson (1979-Present) – Alan Jackson got married to his high school sweetheart Denise on December 15, 1979. The couple has 3 daughters together named Mattie Denise (b. June 19, 1990), Alexandra Jane (b. August 23, 1993), and Dani Grace (b. August 28, 1997). In 1998, Alan and Denise got separated for several months due to the singer’s career and alleged infidelity. Through the test of time, the two have always kept their marriage strong. Denise wrote a book inspired by her life, relationship, separation, and recommitment to her husband, Alan.
