When Otis was ten years old, his mother moved him to Detroit to live with him and his step-father.

After nearly a decade he wedded to Arleata “Goldie Williams”. Her daughter Elan Carter achieved the title of 1994’s Playboy’s Playmate of the Month” in June 1994.
