Some of the projects that he has been a part of include Mule Variations, Transmutation, Warszawa, Transmutation Live, Songs of Love and Hate, The Cuckoo Clocks of Hell, The Big Eyeball in the Sky, Chinese Democracy, Living on Another Frequency, and Orphans: Brawlers, Bawlers & Bastards.

- He was nicknamed ‘Brain’ by the members of his high school concert band because Bryan Mantia used to obsessively study of the drum book Portraits in Rhythm.
- Growing up, he used to listen to music by artists like James Brown, Led Zeppelin, and . This helped shape his musical interests and influenced him to pursue a career in the art form.
