Colm Meaney is an Irish actor, best known for playing the character of Chief Miles O’Brien in Star Trek: The Next Generation TV series from 1987 to 1994, as well as the same character in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, from 1993 to 1999. He also starred in a movie titled Under Siege (1992) as Daumer, alongside and Steven Seagal, as well as the Con Air film in 1997, with well-known actors such as , , and .
