Danielle Rose Collins is an American professional tennis player who started playing collegiate tennis at the University of Virginia during her sophomore and senior years. At the time, she was already a potential player and won the NCAA singles title twice. She also became the top-ranked collegiate player as she finished and completed her career at the University of Virginia in 2016. Following her initial success as a collegiate tennis player, Collins made her greatest breakthrough in the World Tennis Association (WTA) tour after she reached the semifinals of the 2019 Australian Open. However, she lost the game to 8 seed in 2 sets.
