2. She was born to athletic parents who were nationally ranked in athletics and ice hockey.
3. Kasatkina started playing tennis at the age of 6.
4. During her junior years, she won the European 16s championship and junior Grand Slam singles title at the 2014 French Open. From there, she was quick to reach the professional rankings and placed at no. 32 in the world at the age of 18.
