E:U is a South Korean rapper, dancer, singer, TV personality, and internet personality, best known as the leader of the 6-member all-girls K-pop group, Everglow, often stylized as ΣVΣRGLOW. She began her career as a trainee signed to Yehua Entertainment in 2017 and appeared in their web series Yuehua Girls, uploaded to the online video-sharing platform Bili Bili. She also branched out from Yuehua Girls and had her 4-episode web series titled Jiwon’s Vlog that was around 2 minutes long. Despite quickly becoming the leader of the group, she was the 5th member to be officially introduced in February 2019. E:U released 2 single albums as part of Everglow in 2019 titled Arrival of Everglow in March and Hush in August.
