First Album

He released his debut album The Clan Pt. 2.5: The Final Chapter as a part of Monsta X in March 2017. The album was a huge success and peaked at number 2 spot on the Korean music charts. It also made a name overseas by peaking at the number 1 spot on the US Billboard World Music chart.

1. Before his debut with Monsta X, he was a part of group Nu’Bility but he stepped back last minute.
2. I.M joined as a trainee with Starship Entertainment after competing on the TV show No.Mercy.
3. He was the 6th trainee to be announced as a member of boy band Monsta X.
4. The other trainees were not very thrilled by the agency’s decision to include him as a trainee.
