Their union however didn’t last long as they filed for a divorce which was finalized in 1999. This didn’t deter him from falling in love again. He started dating Leila Knight but after their engagement, Leila called off the relationship in a TMZ interview which was held in November 2014. According to Leila, Jose threatened to kill her and her mum allegations that Jose denied. He accused Leila of being too controlling siting the end of their relationship due to that.
