Joshua Bassett Facts

1. He was introduced to the world of acting at a very young age. His first performance was in a musical theater production at the age of 8. Since then, he has been featured in numerous TV commercials and has starred in more than 30 musical theater productions that include roles such as Apostle James in Godspell, The Cat in the Hat in Seussical, Peter Pan in Peter Pan, Kurt von Trapp in The Sound of Music, and Charlie in Willy Wonka.
2. That first performance, incidentally, was the role of J.V. Jock No. 2 in a community theater production of High School Musical. As fate would have it, 11 years later, his breakthrough TV performance came in 2019 in the drama TV series High School Musical: The Musical: The Series.
3. After playing singular episode cameo roles in TV series such as Lethal Weapon (2017), Game Shakers (2018), and Dirty John (2018), Joshua landed his first substantial acting role in 2018 when he was selected for the recurring role of Aidan Peters on the Disney Channel’s comedy TV series Stuck in the Middle.
4. All 5 of his sisters have been involved in acting and have appeared in theatre productions. Joshua has even appeared in the theatre production of Annie with all 5 of his sisters.
