1. She made her first theatrical film appearance by playing the role of a store clerk in the 2000 American action film, Romeo Must Die, which is loosely related to William Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet.
2. In January 2000, Kandyse McClure made her first TV show appearance as Katherine Ann ‘Kat’ Cabot, the adopted child of white parents, in an episode titled Scott Free of the American-Canadian drama series, Higher Ground. She co-starred in the show alongside , Anne Marie Loder, Joe Lando, A. J. Cook, Jorgito Vargas, Jr., , and Deborah Odell.
3. She brought to life the character of Sue Snell, a popular teenage girl dating Tommy Ross, in the 2002 American supernatural horror television film, Carrie, in which her co-stars included Angela Bettis, , , and .
