Kyla Ross is an American college artistic gymnast who used to be an elite gymnast from 2009 to 2016. Ross, who has built a well-respected name and reputation in the world of gymnastics, was a member of the U.S Women’s Gymnastics team popularly dubbed as the Fierce Five in the 2012 Summer Olympics wherein she earned a gold medal in the competition. On top of her overall achievements as an elite gymnast, she was also a member of the gold-medal-winning U.S team at the 2014 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships, the 2013 world all-around, uneven bars, and balance beam silver medalist, and an all-around bronze medalist in 2014.
Ross was named an All-American 11 times during her early years with the university’s NCCA gymnastics team. As of March 16, 2019, she became the 11th collegiate gymnast to earn a Gym Slam award for hitting a perfect 10 score on all 4 apparatuses. In April of the 2018-2019 season, she tied a record with Karin Lichey for the most career perfect 10s on uneven bars with 9 perfect 10s. She also set the NCCAA record for the most perfect 10s in one season with 14 and had set the NCAA record for most consecutive meets with a perfect 10 with 10 straight meets.
