Kyle was born on March 17, 1981. He was born in Paramount, California. Kyle is the son of Kelvin Korver, a pastor for the Third Reformed Church in Pella, Iowa. His mother is Laine Korver. Kyle comes from a long lineage of basketballers and pastors since both his parents were basketball players at the Central College in Pella. Kyle has three brothers, Klayton, Kaleb and Kirk Lover.
