Luis Enrique is a Spanish soccer manager and former professional soccer player who was renowned for his versatility in the field and excelled primarily in the midfield and as a forward for both Real Madrid C.F. and FC Barcelona. He finished his club career with 107 goals, a majority (73) of them coming for FC Barcelona, in the last part of his career. At the international level, he represented Spain at 3 FIFA World Cups (1994, 1998, 2002) and the UEFA Euro 1996. As a manager, he coached Barcelona B, Roma, and Celta Vigo from 2008 to 2014. He also coached FC Barcelona to the UEFA Super Cup in 2015, the FIFA Club World Cup in 2015, the Supercopa de España in 2016, and another Copa del Rey title in the 2016–17 season.
