They did not have any children together. Later after four years, she again got married to Gordon Clark, who is a computer programmer and systems administrator employed at the Church of Scientology. But they also got divorced after 15 years of being together. They had two sons for whom Gordon argued their custody, saying that she spent too much time in her work and court that she has less time with the children.

All these incidents blew her faith in God, and she discontinued following any religion. In 1980, she withdrew herself from the Church of Scientology of which she was a part.
