1. He is the oldest member of with a gap of around 8 or 9 years with the rest of the guys.
2. In 2006, he joined Maroon 5 as a replacement for Ryan Dusick, who had to leave the band after suffering from chronic injuries to his wrist and shoulders. Matt had served as the group’s touring drummer from 2004 to 2006.
